That is what McGreevy-Marks is all about. We throw in everything like a good sauce and season to taste! Are you hungry yet?
There is only one happiness in life: to love and be loved. ~ George Sands
You may (or may not) have been dreaming about your wedding since the age of 5. Now you're planning it and all the little details. McGreevy-Marks makes a point to capture all the little things during the day that you have planned. Because in the whirlwind of your wedding day it is very common to miss these details and you have other things on your mind.
This is just a taste from different weddings we have photographed.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE engagement sessions. This is the time I really get to know the two of you, not only how you photograph but how you interact as well. Engagement sessions are included in most of our collections.
Engagement sessions are $350 without the purchase of a collection and that includes a $175 credit towards prints/products.
I'm an animal lover and when I get the chance I love to shoot them! (with a camera, of course) This year we are expanding this side of our business. We plan on doing a 2011 calendar to benefit animal shelters. More information is on our blog at: http://blog.mcgreevymarksphoto.com/?page_id=14 McGreevy-Marks Photography is also working with the Almost Home Humane Shelter of Lafayette in September to benefit homeless pets in need. The September benefit is scheduled for the last week in September exact date TBA. It will consist of a $25 session fee and all of that will go to pets in need. You will receive the session and a portrait of your pet.
Don't miss out on capturing these first baby pictures! Belly pictures are more popular than ever, after all this is woman power at it's best! Don't worry if you don't feel perfect, we will help you to feel your best and have a blast at this session.
When you book make sure you mention any ideas you may have and we will also give some suggestions on clothing and "stuff".
We have 5 acres of portrait park including a pond. We can do stuff in and around the pond. Water is very connected to life and pregnancy and can provide a great backdrop for belly-time.
We also have a complete studio and can wrap you up in fun fabric to beautifully hi-light your baby.
Christy at McGreevy-Marks knows the changes a baby makes over it's first year will be tremendous. Therefore, she has a plan designed to fit the needs of new parents.
The Plan is $99 and includes 3 sessions within the first year and a complimentary 4x5 from each session at the end of the plan.
A complimentary newborn session is available as well, but the baby needs to be younger than 2 weeks for it to be a true newborn session.
Also available are maternity sessions for expecting moms. What a great image for your baby book!
All about kids!!!!

Relationship Portraits in Black & White
Family is everything. Commissioning a family portrait every year is essential because of how much your children change.
I encourage the classic, simplicity of black & white for your family portraits in order to highlight the relationships within your family. By taking out the color I am able to focus on emotions and connectivity easier.
We can do a classic studio relationship session for immediate family ($125)
Lifestyle Family Portraits
Unique family lifestyle portraits in color.
My approach to family life portraits is on the classic side with a little bit of alternative thrown in the mix. I encourage clothing to be simple and casual (but not too trendy ~ remember those bell bottoms your dad wore in those old 70's pictures?).
These are often done on location at your home or where you're comfortable. (although we are able to do them in the studio as well.)
Family Lifestyle Studio: $125
or go on location ($250). T
These are prices for immediate families only. For family reunions please call for quote.
For myself
Commercial rates start at $999/day or $200/hour (3 hour min.)

Where do I begin?
Photography. I LOVE what I do, it's a big part of who I am. In 20 years I guarantee I will still be photographing by the grace of God. I don't know if it was brainwashing from a young age (my grandfather was a professional photographer) or the chemicals (yes, I actually did use film and a darkroom, still do once in awhile), but I can't remember a time when I didn't want a camera. My first one was a Kodak disc! I plan vacations, (shh...don't tell my family) around what would be cool to photograph. If you stop me in the store I will probably have a camera on me somewhere, even in my purse or pocket.
Please don't take my Kodachrome away! Gotta love Paul Simon! I love music of all types, especially jazz. I even play the clarinet & tenor sax.
I enjoy photographing weddings, yes, you heard it right. Love is the bomb, there is nothing better than knowing you have found your soulmate. From your engagement pictures to your wedding day I want to be there with you/for you. To document this magical time in your life. Yes, I know that sounds cheesy, but it's true.
Babies and kids are up there too, I think it's all part of the love thing. They are truly miracles and I am so honored to have your confidence in preserving these memories and moments for you. Not only in this generation, but generations to come.
I hope I have the opportunity to meet with you!

Chris
I am the crazy one who stands on the edge of bridges and roofs to capture the most unique perspective.
I have a dual major in Three-Dimensional Fine Art and Industry-Technology from Ball State University. My photography roots stem from "shooting" sports and high school yearbook images. Back in the early 80's I was in yearbook and I only photographed in black and white. That was a time when photographers' bulk loaded film. Oh the smell of developer, fixative, and stop bath. The days of the darkroom were at an all time high. In college I pushed the limits and took all the classes in color theory and processing. Developing negatives and prints wasn't enough; having full knowledge of photography in the reproduction industry and pushing the limits of photography were put to the test. Believe it or not I cut my teeth on the beta version of Photoshop.
When I'm not racing in a triathlon or coaching, my passion is to capture one of the most exhilarating, heart pounding, crying river of tears, laughing like a kid, days in a persons' life. I want to bring out the emotion of every bride and groom that I meet and work with. I love recording history through the eye of the camera.
